Guten Tag! Allow myself to introduce... myself. I am

poeland and this is my home on the web. I’ve heard it said that the bravest thing you can do is write your thoughts where anyone can read them. I’ve also been told that I can break a bone like a soldier, and drink like a G. So I thought with all my BAMF-in’ qualities, I needed to start a journal. I’ve always wanted a diary, and Livejournal is the perfect site for an interactive and unlimited place to squee, vent, or just retain memories (which is perfect because I have no short-term memory).

Aside from all that, my journal is currently Flocked. I’m here to commune with people who share similar interests with me, and avoid at all costs any weirdos or trolls. Sadly they’re unavoidable at times, but I do what I can.

If you would like to be friends, there’s a few things you need to know about me before commenting to be added: I am a Christian, I like to think of myself as a conservative Dem, I’m very aware that life isn’t perfect, and I swear ~~a hell of a lot~~ occasionally (I know, bad Christian! *slaps wrist*). These attributes affect the way I think and write. If this bothers you, then steer clear. Otherwise, as long as we have common interests, add away! » It comes from my hardcore, barely legal love of Edgar Allan Poe.

» Constant fandoms listed below, but I have eclectic taste in entertainment, and am prone to become obsessive over new things very easily, so there will probably be random things throughout.

How often do you post/check your journal?
» I check back about once a week, sometimes more sometimes less, depending on my schedule. I'll post when I've made something worthwhile, or have something to say that I think people want to hear.

Do you have the original picture from [that graphic]?
» Yes, most likely. I keep all my pictures. Just ask and I'll give.

Can I add this journal to my friends list?
» Yes please! As long as we have a lot in common, but that’s the point then, isn’t it? ;)

» I don't have another personal journal, or a graphics journal, but I occasionally make screencaps that are hosted over at
